Setup Your Computer

The following exercises are designed to take your system on a test drive to determine if the required applications/plugins are installed.
  • To test your sound card, click here. If your platform has a sound card and you did not hear a voice talking, then you should refer to your owners manual for detailed instructions on how to set up your system so that the sound card works correctly.
  • To determine if your platform will play animation files, click here. If your computer did not play the animation, you need to install a current version of Java.
  • Click on the Play button to determine if your platform will run video clips.

    1. Microsoft. If your computer did not play the movie, you you need to install a current version of Windows Media Player.
    2. Apple. If your computer did not play the movie, you need to install a current version of QuickTime.
