In order to demonstrate content proficency, you will need to score at least 70% on a content exam. You will access this exam using D2L (
Desire2Learn), a learning management system that has been implemented at Michigan State University for delivery of online instructional content.
Non-MSU employees will need to go through a one-time exercise to create an MSU Guest Account. Once you have created your MSU Guest Account, you should return to this page and proceed to the next step. If you already have an MSU Guest Account, simply proceed to the next step.

You should now use your MSU Guest Account email and password to Register for the Basic Concepts of Osteopathic Medicine content exam.
Once your account is created and you have registered for the content exam, you will use your MSU Guest Account email address and password to log-in to the D2L system.
You will have access to the content exam for a 30 day period of time. You can save and recall the examination sheet as many times as you like. You can change your answers up to the time that you submit the examination sheet for credit. However, once you submit the examination sheet for credit, you can no longer retrieve it and change your answers. Once submitted, your examination sheet will be graded and your score, along with the correct answers, will be returned to you. If you do not score at least 70%, you will have to repay to repeat the exam.
